How to Make a Photo Calendar HomeThis is a featured page

If you enjoy taking pictures, I'd like to recommend using your photographs to make a photo calendar. Like most people who usually keep a camera close by, I had lots of great photonature and vacation photo calendar pages, but felt limited in the ways I had available to display them. Of course I had pictures framed on my walls, shelves, mantle, and organized in a ton of photo albums (that just don't get looked at enough!). I quickly got to the point though where I was running out of space, yet I still had some fantastic photos that I didn't want to just let languish in an another album or, worse yet, leave just sitting on my hard drive.

Then I found out about photo calendars. Learning to make a photo calendar has been a great way for me to display my photos in a way that's useful, and constantly changing ever month! It has also allowed me to create and give really unique gifts to friends and family.

Generally, when I make a photo calendar, I use either Snapfish.com or Shutterfly.com. I have used others, but these are my 2 favorites because they're easy to use, and the finished product is printed with the highest quality. When folks see my calendars, many of them are amazed and ask me how I could have possibly learned how to make something like this, and on the computer no less. But making a photo calendar really is sooooooo easy!

How to Make a Photo Calendar

To make a photo calendar, all you have to do is upload your photos to the online photo site and then get creative with layouts, backgrounds and your own fabulous photos. There's really not that much to it. If you're still apprehensive though or would like some more guidance (like many people I've talked to), I wrote down all the instructions for how I make a photo calendar. Just click the link and you'll find my step-by-step instructions for both uploading your photos and making a photo calendar; as well as some cool theme ideas from past photo calendars I've made.

I also wanted to make sure I mentioned that recently, someone turned me on to the idea of online coupons. With a bit of research I found out that I can easily find Shutterfly.com or Snapfish.com coupons that save me a ton of money on my photo calendar orders. So, before you checkout, make sure to grab a coupon - cause who wants to pay full price when they don't have to!!!!
